Editorial policy
Sources and automated publication
We use AI to draft source-based articles. Automated checks assess source references, topic fit, formatting, duplicate stories and publication limits. Articles that fail these checks are excluded from automatic publication; they are not sent to a public review queue. These checks cannot independently verify every fact.
Standards for our coverage
Security reports should identify the source of an incident claim and avoid presenting an unverified victim count or attacker statement as established fact. We do not publish stolen datasets, working credentials or instructions for exploiting victims.
Corrections and updates
Corrections can be requested through our contact page with the article URL and supporting evidence. We display publication and modification dates on articles; dates should reflect substantive changes rather than make old reporting appear new.
Images and promotion
Publication artwork is illustrative and is not presented as a photograph of a reported event. Any third-party images require appropriate rights. Promotional network banners are labeled and kept separate from the article body; they may link to another website operated by the same owner.
Scope and limitations
Coverage is general information, not an incident-response service or a guarantee of protection. Follow official guidance from the affected organization when responding to an account or security incident.
